Recording Academy telah mengumumkan daftar nominasi untuk Grammy Awards 2023. Penyanyi Beyonce dan Adele menjadi musisi yang mendapat nominasi terbanyak dalam ajang penghargaan musik bergengsi tersebut.
Beyonce mendominasi dengan berhasil masuk dalam 9 kategori lewat album terbarunya, Renaissance. Penyanyi dengan nama lengkap Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter ini memborong tiga nominasi terbaik, yakni Record of the Year, Song of the Year, dan Album of the Year.
Beyonce juga meraih nominasi untuk Best Dance/Electronic Recording dan Best Dance/Electronic Music Album. Penyanyi yang merupakan istri dari Jay-Z ini juga dinominasikan untuk Best R&B Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, Best Song Written for Visual Media, dan Best Remixed Recording.
Musisi lain seperti Kendrick Lamar juga mencatatkan namanya dalam tiga nominasi, yaitu Record of the Year, Song of the Year, serta Album of the Year.
Enggak sampai di situ saja, rapper dan songwriter dari Amerika ini juga masuk dalam nominasi Best Music Video, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Album, serta Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.
Di samping itu, Adele dan Brandi Carlile mendapatkan tujuh nominasi dalam penghargaan Grammy tahun ini. Empat musisi lainnya yang mendapatkan enam nominasi adalah Future, Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, DJ Khaled, dan Randy Merril.
Enggak ketinggalan, Taylor Swift juga mendapatkan empat nominasi dalam Grammy Awards 2023, khususnya untuk lagunya “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” yang berhasil masuk dalam nominasi Best Music Video dan Song of the Year.
Para penggemar K-pop jangan kecewa, karena BTS juga mendapatkan sejumlah nominasi di Grammy Awards 2023. Boyband asal Korea Selatan itu masuk nominasi dalam Best Pop Duo/Group Performance dan Best Music Video.
BTS masuk nominasi Best Music Video untuk lagunya yang berjudul “Yet to Come” yang dirilis pada Juni 2022. Lagu tersebut menjadi bagian dari album Proof sekaligus jadi lagu pertama berbahasa Korea dari BTS yang masuk nominasi Grammy.
Malam puncak Grammy Awards 2023 bakal digelar pada 5 Februari 2023 di Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, California, Amerika Serikat.
